WebMar 25, 2024 · I doubt that there can be any scientific validation that clicky improves typing. in practice, these days, i only recommend linear switches. tactile is not good, in particular, cherry mx brown is worst, because its scratchy. clicky is too noisy. but ok if you use it on a key macro pad. linear is the most natural and best. WebI went with the clicky version of the G815 cause it was the only version available to me at the time, I love the low profile keys tho I prefer the feel of the G910 romer-g keys and the original G Pro keyboard (which were tactile like cherry browns) over the clicky. I just recently bought a G915 TKL tactile version that should be here in a few days.
